October 24, Fineko/abc.az. Production and packaging at Naxçıvan Duz Istehsalı LLC, subordinate to the Ministry of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, has been suspended.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry that due to the need to carry out appropriate work to enhance technical safety at mine No. 5 on Solyanaya Gora, as well as in order to organize the production of higher-quality salt in the future, salt extraction from the mine has been temporarily suspended.

The Ministry controls the import of salt into the NAR, produced in other regions of our country, as well as in neighboring countries, to ensure uninterrupted and sustainable supply of demand from the population and manufacturing enterprises using salt as raw materials.
