October 24, Fineko/abc.az. The creation of an all-Turkic patent organization is proposed by the working group of the Organization of Turkic States on Industry, Science, Technologies & Innovations.

ABC.AZ informs that Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov made this statement at a meeting of the working group within the 2nd meeting of the OTS Ministers of Industry, Science, Technologies & Innovations, organized by the Ministry of Economy in Baku.

According to Jabbarov, given that intellectual property is at the heart of the development of innovation, science and industry, strengthening mutual cooperation in this area is of strategic and practical importance: "At the same time, the initiative to create a Metrological Organization of the Turkic states, put forward within the OTS Summit in Astana in November 2023, is of great importance from angle of development of science and technologies. The establishment of such an organization is an important step in terms of deepening common economic integration, strengthening research and innovation potential."

The minister noted that in recent years, multilateral relations within the OTS have been developing in an ascending line: "This shows that trust and cooperation between our countries are strengthening."
