U.S. budget deficit decreased first time since 2022

October 17, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of fiscal year 2025, the U.S. federal budget deficit amounted to $1.78 trillion, having decreased by 2.3% compared to the previous year.

ABC.AZ informs that revenues increased by 6% up to record of $5.23 trillion, mainly due to increased customs duties. Spending also peaked at $7.01 trillion, but its growth slowed due to lower education costs.
