September 3, Fineko/abc.az. In January–June 2025, total domestic tourism spending in Azerbaijan amounted to 2.5268 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the State Statistics Committee, that this figure is 13.6% higher than in the same period last year.

The largest share of spending went to shopping and gifts, totaling 647.2 million manats, followed by food services (616.6 million manats), accommodation services (467.9 million manats), and transport services (373.2 million manats). Together, these four categories accounted for about 83.3% of the total.

In addition, domestic tourists spent 201.1 million manats on other expenses, 104.3 million manats on sports and entertainment services, 39.5 million manats on fuel, and 35.4 million manats on cultural events. Car and other vehicle rentals amounted to 23.2 million manats, while the purchase of tourism packages totaled 18.3 million manats.
