July 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan are holding a one-on-one meeting after talks with the participation of delegations.
ABC.AZ informs that prior to the one-on-one contacts, consultations with the participation of delegations lasted almost two hours.
The main topic of the meeting is to resolve the contradictions surrounding the peace treaty in order to sign it before the end of the year.
On March 13, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the text of the peace treaty with Azerbaijan had been agreed upon by both sides and that Yerevan was ready to discuss proposals on the place and date of signing the document. Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Ministry’s spokesman Ayhan Hajizadeh said that the agreement is possible if a number of conditions are met, including the cessation of shelling on the border and amendments to Armenia’s Constitution, excluding territorial claims to Baku.
