Sharif: Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul corridor is a path to regional prosperity

December 20, Fineko/abc.az. At the 11th Summit of the D-8 Economic Cooperation Organization in Cairo, Pakistani PM Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif stressed the strategic importance of transport corridor Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul for regional development.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Sharif, this project can become a key link for realization of the economic goals of the D-8 member countries.

The Islamabad–Tehran–Istanbul transport corridor is a railway and automobile route that connects South Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
