July 28, Fineko/abc.az. Two posts of deputy defense ministers have been abolished.

ABC.AZ reports that the posts of the head of the Main Logistics Department and the head of the Main Personnel Department have been held by deputy ministers. In compliance with the changes, both posts were abolished and excluded from the list of deputy ministers.

After the appointment of Col-Gen Kerim Veliyev to the post of Chief of the General Staff, the post of deputy minister, head of the Main Directorate of Personnel became vacant.

The deputy minister was the head of the Main Logistics Department, Lt Gen Nizam Osmanov. It is not specified to what position Osmanov was appointed.
