February 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Armenian military fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces on the border and in Karabakh.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense that starting from 20:45 on February 21 to 01:20 on February 22, Azerbaijani Army positions were subjected to fire 15 times.

“The Armenian armed forces units from the positions in the directions of Chinarli settlement of Tovuzgala district and Birali settlement of Vedi region using sniper rifles and other various caliber weapons periodically subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of the Aghdam settlement of Tovuz district and Sadarak district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic,” the Ministry says.

Moreover, members of an illegal Armenian armed detachment in the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed, subjected to fire the Azerbaijan Army positions stationed in the directions of Tazakend settlement of the Kalbajar district, Shusha city and Khojavand district (Karabakh Economic Region).

“The Azerbaijan Army Units took adequate retaliatory measures,” the Ministry underlines.
