May 27, Fineko/abc.az. The State Tourism Agency has reported that the number of tourists coming to Azerbaijan increased by 8.9% or 19,400 people compared with the 2018 same term and reached 238,000 people.

The highest growth was observed among visitors from Georgia - 22% (10,200 people).

The number of tourists from the Middle East reached 30,000 (12%), from South Asia growth made up 35.4%, and from Central Asia 44.2%.

The growth of visitors from Turkey made up 10% - in April 25,200 people came from this country.

The number of foreigners visiting Azerbaijan increased for the first four months of 2019.
