May 20, Fineko/abc.az. For the past months of this year, nominal income of the Azerbaijani population increased by 8.8% compared with the same term of 2025 and reached 28.7 bn manats.

ABC.AZ reports that the average monthly income per inhabitant reached 698.9 manats (8.5% more than a year ago).

Population’s income for this period amounted to 25.112 bn manats. The indicator showed a rise of 9.2% versus Jan-Apr 2025. The average monthly income remaining at the disposal of each person reached 611.5 manats and grew by 8.8% against the relevant period of 2025.

At that, the consumer price index for Jan-Apr 2026 increased by 5.6% compared with the 2025 ame term. The price growth was 6.7% for food, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, 3.7% for non-food products and 5.7% for paid services rendered to the public.

Compared with April 2025, annual inflation was 5.5%. And prices grew by 0.3% for April 2026.
