May 13, Fineko/abc.az. QatarEnergy has signed a memorandum of understanding with TotalEnergies, ConocoPhillips and the Syrian Petroleum Company on cooperation in the field of oil and gas exploration on the Syrian continental shelf.

ABC.AZ informs that the parties will conduct technical assessment of the potential of Block No. 3 in the Levantine Basin in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. The results will form the basis for further technical and commercial decisions on the project. The memorandum was signed in Doha at the headquarters of QatarEnergy.
