April 24, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan exported 42,524 tons of cotton fiber for $57.53 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that the indicator is $17.455 million (43.5%) more and 14,556 tons (52%) more in volume compared with Jan-Mar 2025.

Revenues from cotton fiber exports made up 1% of Azerbaijan's overall export revenues.

For the past 3 months, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $9.407 billion (21.9% less versus Jan-Mar 2025), including exports for $5.402 billion (a drop by 15.4%) and imports for $4.5 billion (a drop by 29.3%).

As a result, foreign trade surplus reached $1.398 billion (93.4% more than a year earlier).
