April 21, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan exported 31,452 tons of apples for $24.896 million.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee that the indicator is $5.555 million (28.7%) and 2,466 tons (8.5%) more in volume against Jan-Mar 2025.

Revenues from apple exports made up 0.4% of Azerbaijan's overall export revenues.

For Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $9.407 billion (21.9% less versus Jan-Mar 2025), including exports for $5.402 billion (a drop by 15.4%) and imports for $4.5 billion (a drop by 29.3%).

As a result, foreign trade surplus totaled $1.398 billion (93.4% more than a year earlier).
