April 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan exported 1,618 tons of potatoes for $570,000.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Customs Committee, the indicator is 608 tons (60%) more in volume and $241,915 (73%) more in value versus Jan-Mar 2025.

Revenues from potato exports accounted for a small share in Azerbaijan's export revenues.

Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $9.407 billion (21.9% less against Jan-Mar 2025), including exports for $5.402 billion (a drop of 15.4%) and imports for $4.5 billion (a drop by 29.3%).

Foreign trade surplus reached $1.398 billion (93.4% more year-on-year).
