April 20, Fineko/abc.az. In the 1st quarter of 2026, the trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan totaled $322.2 million, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Office of National Statistics of Georgia.
The cost grew by 5.47% against Jan-Mar 2025.
Over Jan-Mar 2026, Azerbaijan's share in Georgia's overall trade turnover made up 5.5%. According to this indicator, Azerbaijan ranked 5th among the main trading partners of the neighboring country after Turkey, Russia, China and the U.S.
Georgia exported products for $138.7 million to Azerbaijan (1.2% less versus Jan-Mar 2025). Azerbaijan, with share of 8% in Georgia's exports, ranked 5th among the neighboring country's main export partners after China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Turkey.
The cost of products imported by Georgia from Azerbaijan increased by 10.1% compared with 2025 up to $183.4 million. Azerbaijan, with 4.4% share, ranked 6th among the neighboring country's main import partners after Turkey, Russia, China, the U.S. and Germany.
Georgia carried out trade transactions for $5.86 billion (0.2% more against Jan-Mar 2025). The value of exports was $1.72 billion and the value of imports - $4.14 billion.
