January 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Afghan Foreign Ministry called on the international community to lift banking restrictions and unfreeze Afghan assets.

ABC.AZ informs that FM Amir Khan Mottaki said this at a meeting with UN Deputy Secretary-General for Political Affairs Rosemary Dicarlo.

According to the FM, such measures are necessary to support the private sector and ensure uninterrupted humanitarian supplies.

The Afghan side also presented its position on the domestic political situation, security measures, economic stabilization and the return of refugees.
