September 23, Fineko/abc.az. The new international cargo airport to be put into operation in 2027 as part of the Alat Free Economic Zone will turn Azerbaijan into one of the main logistics centers of Eurasia.

ABC.AZ informs that Minister of Digital Development & Transport Rashad Nabiyev wrote this in his account on X.

"We took part in the 10th International Caspian Air Cargo Summit, held in Baku. This summit, which has become the leading logistics event in the region since 2006, demonstrates our country's growing role in global trade. Today, Azerbaijan has one of the largest and most modern air cargo fleets in the region. I hope the industry leaders who gathered in Baku will contribute to development of global air transportation with their productive discussions," he emphasized.
