July 9, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of mortgage loans in the country exceeded 5.1 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs that Rasim Abdullayev, General Manager of the Azerbaijan Mortgage & Credit Guarantee Fund, said this at a meeting with media representatives.

He noted that so far, loans for 3.5 billion manats have been given within the state line, which means that 54,800 people have been provided with loans: "According to banks' internal mortgage forecasts, mortgage loans were given for 1.6 billion manats, that is, to 12,900 people. Nearly 32% of those loans were given to persons of preferential categories, most of the loans, close to 67% were given to young people and young families. 22% of loans were given in the regions."
