June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, 979,900 foreigners and stateless persons from 178 countries arrived in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the State Border Service, the figure is 1.5% more versus Jan-May 2024.

24.6% of the arrivals were from the Russian Federation, 17.7% from Turkey, 10.7% from India, 8.6% from Iran, 4.4% from Georgia, 3.6% from Kazakhstan, 2.9% from Saudi Arabia, 2.8% from Pakistan, by 2.0% from the UAE and Israel, by 1.9% from Uzbekistan and China, 1.4% of the arrivals were citizens of Ukraine, 1.3% from Turkmenistan, 1.0% from Belarus and Kuwait, and 12.2% from other countries.

Men made up 68.9% of the arrivals, while women - 31.1%.

Compared with Jan-May 2024, the number of arrivals from Israel grew 2.5-fold, from Tajikistan – 1.7-fold, from China – 1.5-fold, from Jordan – by 44.3%, from Kyrgyzstan – by 39.5%, from Japan – by 35.4%, from Pakistan – by 21.1%, from Kazakhstan – by 20.4%, from South Korea – by 18.2%, from the Netherlands – by 17.7%, Saudi Arabia and the UAE – by 17.5%, Canada - by 17.0%, from the USA – by 16.0%, Spain – by 15.7%, India – by 15.1 %, Italy – by 13.2 %, Egypt – by 10.6%.
