January 31, Fineko/abc.az. The earnings from the tourism sector (excluding catering) are expected to reach $1.03 billion in Azerbaijan in 2025, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the forecast of portal Statista.

The annual growth rate in the sector in 2025-2029 will be 4.05%.

As a result, sector's volume will reach $1.2 billion by 2029.

The most important segment of the country's tourism sector this year will be the hotel industry with market volume of $546.1 million.

It is predicted that by 2029, 74% of the total revenue in the Azerbaijani tourism market will come from online sales.
