October 25, Fineko/abc.az. The difference in the average monthly wages of men and women will be eliminated in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the report of the State Committee on Family, Women & Children for 2022.

Thus, targeted reforms aimed at eliminating the difference in the average monthly wages of men and women are envisaged in the republic.

In order to eliminate the sharp gap between the levels of average monthly wages of women and men (in 2018, women - 360.8 manats and men - 670.2 manats; in 2019, women 443.4 manats and men 764.8 manats, in 2020, women - 525.6 manats and men 830.2 manats; in 2021, women - 552.2 manats and men - 851.7 manats) for our country the experts of the International Labor Organization have provided for appropriate amendments to the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the regulatory legal acts arising from it.
