June 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2026, 10.556 million tons of oil were transported via the Baku–Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline (9.4% less versus Jan-May 2025), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee.

76.8% of all oil transportation volumes accounted for the BTC pipeline.

Of the total volume, 82.4% (8.7 million tons) accounted for oil produced in Azerbaijan and 17.6% (1.856 million tons) for oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

At the same time, transportation of Azerbaijani oil via BTC decreased by 10.4% and oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan - by 4.05%.
