Oil price goes down: Brent - below $111 a barrel

May 20, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades continue declining in Wednesday’s trading.

As of 09:20 on Baku time, July’s Brent crude futures at the ICE Futures Europe exchange fell by $0.23 (0.21%) to $110.75 per barrel. Following the previous session, the contract lost $0.82 (0.73%) and ended trading at $111.28 per barrel.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), July’s futures for WTI crude oil decreased by $0.43 (0.41%) to $103.72 per barrel. Following the trading on May 19, the July contract dropped by $0.23 (0.22%) to $104.15 per barrel. June’s WTI futures lost $0.89 (0.82%) and ended the session at $107.77 per barrel.
