March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 4,570 tons of hazelnuts for $57.664 million for the past 2 months.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee, that compared with Jan-Feb 2025, country’s exports grew by $29.5 million in value, or by 105.3% (2.1-fold), and in physical terms - by 525 tons, or by 13%.

Over Jan-Feb 2025, exports totaled 4,045 tons for $28.116 million.

The average export price of hazelnuts in two months reached $12.62 per kg (nearly 21.45 manats) against $6.95 (11.82 manats) a year earlier. Thus, the price increased by $5.67 (9.63 manats), or 81.6% year-on-year.
