March 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 20,130 tons of butter for $145.3 million from Uruguay (4% more against 2024 in value terms and 18% less in quantity), ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee).

Azerbaijan imported 8,616 tons of butter from Iran (-40%) for $51 million (26% less than a year ago), 4,269 tons (-20%) for $34 million (-4%) from New Zealand, and 1,635 tons from Saudi Arabia (no supplies a year ago) for $14.5 million, 1,452 tons (+30%) for $11.45 million (+49%) from Belarus, 1,389 tons (+58%) for $10.25 million (+68%) from Ukraine.

Azerbaijan resumed supplies from Uruguay (25 tons for $180,000) after a break of 9 years and 2 months.
