February 25, Fineko/abc.az. In January 2026, Azerbaijan exported 5,878 tons of sugar for $3.782 million.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the State Customs Committee, that compared with January 2025, the figure is $2.377 million, or 2.7-fold more and in volume by 3,754 tons, or 2.8-fold more.

Earnings from sugar exports made up 0.2% of Azerbaijan's export revenues.

Last month, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with foreign countries for $3.538 billion (30.5% less versus January 2025), including exports for $2.236 billion and imports for $1.302 billion. Decline of 26.4% was reported on exports and by 36.5% on imports.
