China occupies 1st place as Germany's most important market

February 23, Fineko/abc.az. For the first time in history, China has become Germany's largest trading partner, ahead of the United States.

ABC.AZ reports that China ranks 1st as Germany's most important market, with trade volume of €251 billion in 2025, up 2.2% from 2024, when the U.S. was the country's leading export destination.

Total trade with the U.S. totaled €240 billion, and Trump's controversial tariffs potentially led to a 5% drop.
