December 30, Fineko/abc.az. Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting with Minister of Economy of the Sultanate of Oman Saeed bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Saqri. The parties discussed the possibilities of strengthening economic ties.

ABC.AZ reports that it was noted during the meeting that two countries’ relations are at a high level, based on mutual trust and create an important basis for expanding economic and trade ties.

The sides stressed the importance of strengthening the legal framework for promoting joint economic activities, establishment of the Azerbaijan-Oman Direct Investment Fund, the investment working group and the joint Azerbaijan-Oman Business Council.

The prospects for expanding cooperation in the fields of renewable and traditional energy, transport, logistics, tourism and other areas were assessed at the meeting.
