Japan's economy contracted in 3rd quarter

November 17, Fineko/abc.az. Japan's economy declined by 0.4% in the third quarter compared to the previous quarter.

ABC.AZ informs that this is stated in the preliminary information of the government.

The indicator decreased for the first time since the 1st quarter of last year. However, in the 2nd quarter, country's economic growth was 0.6%. At the same time, in the 3rd quarter, Japan's economy declined by 1.8% compared to the same term of 2024.

Exports dropped by 1.2%, while imports by 0.1%.
