September 9, Fineko/abc.az. China has expressed interest in deepening cooperation with Azerbaijan in the operation of regular trains, as well as in the establishment of an industrial and logistics park, Ke Zhihing, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of China’s Zhejiang Province and member of the Party Committee, said.

ABC.AZ reports, citing Trend, that at a ceremony marking the 5th anniversary of the European Railway Express route and the 237th train passing through the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (Yiwu–Baku), Ke Zhihing stressed their readiness to form a vision for closer cooperation between the two countries.

“We are ready to establish a mechanism of regular contacts with Azerbaijan’s government institutions, enterprises, and chambers of commerce to deepen mutual cooperation in such areas as the operation of regular trains, the creation of an industrial and logistics park, and the mutual recognition of standards.

We will also expand comprehensive cooperation in the fields of digital economy, green and low-carbon development, tourism, and culture, so that the friendly foundations of development become even stronger,” the Vice Governor emphasized.
