July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerkabel OJSC ended 2024 with loss of 6,000 manats. However, 2023 ended with a profit of 2,000 manats for the cable producer company.
ABC.AZ informs that last year Azerkabel's revenue from sales amounted to 148,000 manats (2.8% more than a year earlier), cost of sales – 154,000 manats (8.45% more), including wage costs – 61,000 manats (5.2% more), depreciation expenses – 22,000 manats (by 8.3% less), inventory costs – 40,000 manats (by 7% less), expenses on the State Social Protection Fund – 11,000 manats (by 10% more), banking expenses – 1,000 manats (3.3-fold more), and other expenses – 20,000 manats (2.9-fold more).
As of January 1, 2025, Azerkabel's assets reached 5.699 million mantas (1.1% less than 1 year ago). For the reported term, company's liabilities decreased by 2.1% to 2.908 million manats, while the balance sheet capital remained unchanged at 2.791 million manats.
Azerkabel was established in 2001 on the basis of the company of the same name, which has been operating since 1959. Its authorized capital is 869,000 manats. The company is the leading manufacturer of cables in the country.
