June 18, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. and Iran remotely signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the confrontation and launching a peaceful dialogue.
ABC.AZ reports that the document includes preliminary agreements: limitation of the Iranian nuclear program, opening of the Strait of Hormuz and possible easing of sanctions.
Implementation of the terms will be discussed within 60 days. The news has increased expectations of early conclusion of a full-fledged agreement.
