May 14, Fineko/abc.az. Global milk production increased in almost all key regions - the EU, the USA and New Zealand, declining only in Australia.

ABC.AZ reports that New Zealand showed the largest growth (+3.3% over the year), the EU added nearly 2.8%, and in the U.S., growth was driven by a rise in livestock.

At the same time, exports observed growth in the EU (+3.9%) and the U.S. (+7.8%), while New Zealand and Australia lowered supplies.

At that, global demand weakened: imports were cut by China (-2%), Africa and the Middle East (-10.2%) and Latin America (-1.1%), while there was moderate growth in Southeast Asia.
