May 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has been involved in a range of initiatives of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB).

ABC.AZ informs that Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), made the relevant statement at the event "Regional Integration for Sustainable Development" of the ISB Private Sector Roadmap (Roadshow).

According to Abdullayev, cooperation also includes the IsDB program Reverse Linkage, which supports capacity development and knowledge exchange between member countries. In this context, Azerbaijan is involved in initiatives in such areas as development of cotton production and water resources management, digital transformation and provision of public services, financial inclusion of women, and high-quality infrastructure.

Abdullayev noted that among the spheres under discussion, cooperation in infrastructure development, water resources management, irrigation, transport infrastructure, and utilities is of particular importance: "These areas reflect Azerbaijan's development priorities and create opportunities for practical cooperation in projects supporting sustainable resource management, regional development, and improvement of state infrastructure".
