December 29, Fineko/abc.az. The total number of foreigners who visited Azerbaijan for Jan-Nov 2024 reached 2.412 million people (27% more versus Jan-Nov 2023).

ABC.AZ informs that this is reflected in the December issue of the Export Review by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

"About 57% of foreigners visiting the country are from Russia, Turkey, Georgia and Iran, while the corresponding countries recorded an increase versus Jan-Nov 2023 (18%, 14%, 7% and 30%, respectively). From India, which ranked 3rd in Top 5 in terms of the number of arrivals, 214,713 people arrived in our country, which is 2-fold more against Jan-Nov 2023," the review says.

In addition, there was an increase in the number of arrivals from China and South Korea almost 2-fold, from Kazakhstan and Pakistan 1.5-fold, from Turkmenistan 1.3-fold, from Uzbekistan 1.2-fold, from Oman by 45%, from Saudi Arabia by 23%, and from Ukraine by 16%.
