May 12, Fineko/abc.az. As of the end of March 2026, the volume of non-performing loans in Azerbaijan amounted to 877.1 million manats.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) that compared with the beginning of the year, the volume of non-performing loans grew by 114.5 million manats, or by 15%.
Of the total amount, 507.4 million manats accounted for business loans (an increase of 78.6 million manats, or 18.3%), 333.6 million manats for consumer loans (a rise of 29 million manats, or 9.5%), 36 million manats for mortgage loans (a rise of 6.9 million manats, or 23.7%).
The share of problem loans in the overall loan portfolio was 2.9%. In particular, the share of problem business loans in the corresponding portfolio reached 3.1%, consumer loans - 3.5%, mortgage loans - 0.8%.
