January 13, Fineko/abc.az. The number of tourists arriving in Azerbaijan from the Persian Gulf countries increased significantly in 2024, and their expenses totaled 411 million manats ($241.8 million).

ABC.AZ informs that in the first 11 months of last year, 201,000 foreign citizens from Arabic-speaking countries visited our country, including 195,000 tourists.

Citizens of the Persian Gulf countries who came for the purpose of tourism exceeded 160,000 people registered last year by 22%, according to the State Statistics Committee.

The main tourists come from Saudi Arabia. During this time, 91,000 Saudi citizens arrived in Azerbaijan for the purpose of tourism.
