Employment contract to have probationary period for up to 6 months

October 6, Fineko/abc.az. The norm of the probationary period is determined in the employment contract, concluded for the term of up to six months.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the Labor Code discussed at today's meeting of Milli Majlis.

Under the valid Employment Contract, the probationary period is determined for no more than three months.

According to the draft, in a contract concluded for the period of six months, the probationary period will be determined for maximum of two weeks, and for other employment contracts - for maximum of 3 months.

After discussions, the bill was put to the vote and adopted in the first reading.
